Warm-up Column D
Something that I have learned a lesson from was using the wrong tools for the job. In this case, the wrong tool was a sharp knife, and the job was to open a seal-tight jar of maraschino cherries. It happened when I was around 10 years old. I was tempted to open the jar of maraschino cherries, but was too hurried about opening the jar that I didn't take the necessary safety procedures to open the jar. Long story short I ended up stabbing the webbing of my fingers between my thumb and index finger on my left hand after attempting to poke the top of the cap over and over again. The well learned lesson from that experience was to always use the right tools for the job.
